Prayer Journal: Time to Mow
Luke 16.19-31: The Rich Man and Lazarus
I confess that I do not know just how to effectively love others, to deal with the overwhelming brokenness of all things. The need is so staggering, and anyway, the yard needs to be mowed too. I can at least mow. If it weren’t for this damn yard, I guess. And all the yards everywhere. What does my life have to do with the brokenness? With the healing?
I created a new category called “Prayer Journal” (linked in the menu at the top of the blog), which I’ll use to share entries from my prayer journal or prayers that I’ve collected and want to keep. The entries from my journal are usually older, written months or even years ago. They are incomplete thoughts and impressions, but true prayers.
